Nature of the tool

HomeMatch is an internal organization tool that lets the Agent record clients, properties, and subjective ratings provided by those clients during showings or open houses. Ratings and comments reflect each client's personal opinion at a given moment — they are not appraisals, valuations, or professional advice of any kind.

Agent responsibility for client data

The Agent is solely responsible for:

• Informing their clients that their data (name, phone number, and ratings or opinions about properties) will be recorded in this tool.
• Obtaining the appropriate authorization from each client before entering their data.
• The source, accuracy, and legitimacy of the data they enter.

HomeMatch does not verify or take responsibility for how each Agent obtained client authorization, nor for how the Agent uses the recorded information.

Accuracy of property information

Property information (price, address, features) entered by the Agent is the Agent's sole responsibility. HomeMatch does not guarantee the accuracy, currency, or completeness of that data, and does not verify its source (MLS, seller, or otherwise).

No implied contractual relationship

Use of HomeMatch between an Agent and their client does not, by itself, create any exclusive representation relationship, brokerage contract, or legal obligation between the Agent and the client, beyond what they have agreed outside the Platform.

Availability and limitation of liability

HomeMatch is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent retention of entered data. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses, damages, or harm arising from use of the Platform, including data loss, service interruptions, or decisions made by the Agent or their clients based on recorded information.

Agent account

The Agent is responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for all activity under their account.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
