Through the Agent's use of the Platform, the following is recorded:
The Agent is responsible for handling their own clients' data in relation to those clients. This means the Agent must inform clients that their data will be recorded on the Platform and obtain their agreement, as described in the Terms of Use.
HomeMatch acts as the provider of the technical infrastructure (storage and operation of the tool), not as the direct party responsible for the relationship between the Agent and their clients.
Data is used exclusively for the Platform's operation: allowing the Agent to organize their clients and properties, and allowing clients to submit ratings through the unique link they receive. Data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
Data is stored using Supabase, a third-party database and infrastructure provider, subject to its own security policies.
A client's data is retained as long as the Agent keeps that information in their account. A client may ask the Agent to delete their data; the Agent is responsible for doing so from their panel, or requesting it from HomeMatch support if unable to do so themselves.
Reasonable technical security measures are taken to protect stored data, though no system is completely infallible. In the event of a security breach affecting personal data, affected Agents will be notified within a reasonable timeframe.
The Platform is not intended to collect data from minors. The Agent must not enter data for minor clients without the appropriate consent of their legal guardian, as required by applicable law.
This policy may be updated. Agents will be notified of significant changes through the Platform.
